Ride To Santiago Peak, Orange County, CA

I have been wanting to do this for a long time and finally got the time. I highly recommend this to anyone with an enduro street legal motorcycle. It is a easy ride with great views. From the Maple Springs Visitor Center it is 13 miles to the peak at 5600'. First four miles are paved and the...

    Blue is the new Orange

After a few years of KTM Adventures, a 640 and 990, I decided I wanted to go the opposite direction on both ends. A more dirt oriented, smaller, lighter bike than the 640, and a more street oriented bike than the 990. Those two are pretty close on the spectrum of motorcycling. Plus, honestly...

Hi All ... anyone know what it means when your speedo backlight turns orange?? I was at altitude and in the slow technical stuff...on longer rides so i thought maybe it was a heat warning? But then the fan went off... let the bike cool plenty and the light stayed on nearly all weekend long...

    Going Orange??

I know I need a smaller bike. A friend followed me on Friday's ride and remarked that I'm doing great except when it gets really tight. I've known this since the start, watching guys just disappear as soon as we hit tight woods. Midwest enduros and hare scrambles always have some very tight...

The orange kill wire can bite!!!

Anyone out there ever put an oscilloscope on the kill switch signal on the SEM ignition - ie the orange wire out of the CDI? I have a Trailtech computer I am fitting. They normally use a length of wire wrapped around the spark plug lead to capacitively couple a signal to drive the tachometer...
