offroad or enduro

Hi, looking at a used '04 FS 450, the owner says it needs a head gasket, no information on mileage. I have no need for a supermoto type bike, but would love to be able to use this on forest service back roads. Has anyone converted the FS to an enduro model? I saw one website that showed...
