    the 2001-2003s all used a screw in crank nipple for the oil feed. the 2001-2002s had a tiny 0.6mm hole but that was increased to about 2.5mm in 2003 - the last year. I've had a load of the 2003s made. they will be 7.50gbp plus (if in the EU) our 20% VAT. cheers Taffy

    Oil nipple

    The oil connection nipple on my crank is missing (2002 FE650) and nowhere to be found in the cases. Is this a major problem? I noticed in the parts manuals for the later years, that there is no oil nipple anymore on the crank, so maybe I have a later year crank, how can I verify what year...

    Any tips on installing the oil connection nipple (on the clutch side of the crank)? Do you use loctitie, other?
