I have a 1998 FC400, That is the model year that is stamped on the steering head. My stator is attached to the right side cover and comes off attached to the cover when removing the three cover bolts. It has a three wire connector that runs to the CDI/coil. So what do I have a 98 or 99 set-up...

hi i am new to this forum. i ve been riding for about 3 years. i had a drz 400 and a wr450 I am looking at a late 2003 plate fe 450. is there anything that i need to check apart from the useualls? what are they like compared to a wr450, many thanks
