material

I had read that these were all stainless steel, does anyone know what grade? I pulled mine off and cleaned it up yesterday, it didn't look stainless to me after I sand blasted it, I cleaned it up with scotchbrite and just had a look and theres patches of surface corrosion all over it...

On the 2009 570 FE I've torn or pulled out the right side course thread bolt twice, which holds the lower tip of the combo fender, side molding onto the sub frame, very close to where the muffler meets the pipe. The problem I have is that the hole is now stripped & won't hold a stock...

just a question for y'all? i have a chance to test a rod that has a steel little end eye (as was intended) from another application. what can i expect? any trouble at all? my expereience is of bikes having bronze little end bushes within the rod. regards Taffy

Do the FE650 come with Titinaum or Stainless steel valves? I have looked for a spec but they are not listed.

Any of you folks have a source for the gel seat material? I was considering investigating the idea of placing a layer of the goo on the seat and trying it out. My search of the net only "netted" a few custom gel seats for Harleys, not the raw material. Any ideas?

This is a really interesting thing. Short and skivvy, it is soft when moved slowly, like when you put it on, and it stiffens up when it is moved quickly, like when you bump your head. Check it out here: d3o Wonder if it will ever make it's way to us.... -Parsko
