markings

Hi guys I have a 2002 fe 501 , I have just replaced the stator and a few other things to try and breathe new life back into the old girl. The question I’m asking is regarding the ( I think a timing mark) the bottom gear of the cam chain. Is it supposed to be in between the 2marks on the gear...
