maintaining

I have a problem after riding and washing my FC550 -03, some water gets trapped inside at stator and flywheel. Have tried with silicone sealing on cover but got water inside anyway. So i unbolt the cover and dry everything after washing, but is there an easier way? How have you guys solved this...
