My balancer shaft bearing spitted out the balls and made a mess around in the crankcase. I have no splitted the case and cleaned everything up and looking for which parts to buy.
I obvious need new balancer shaft bearing and new crank bearings. I have read around here but got unsure...

The bearings plopped out nice but the mains where the rollers plopped out.. So now I have to invest in a good puller. I need it anyway.

I just got my rear shock sprung and re-valved, and fitting it I noticed that the spring was very close, if not touching the exhaust is it the way it's supposed to be or should I be investigating further?
Also I noticed on the bottom of the reservoir there was a wear mark from the loom rubbing...

The bulb has blow for the main bean dashboard illiumination on my 2011 FE450 - my eyes aren't as good as they used to be and I can just about make out 2.3 on the side of the tiny LED type bulb.
Any ideas what type I need to order off Ebay?

Im just wondering if I take the ignition cover off and grab the magnet, is there any play/movement allowed in the main bearing if I wrestle it? I mean it is verrrry little and you really need to wrestle with it to feel it.

Took the subframe off to straighten it up which worked to my surprise! now i can't figure out the routing of the main harness back onto the subframe to get it to fit nice. can someone stick up a pic of it coming round the shock and how it runs, my tank now gets wedged on it!

I have just purchased an 04 FE 550 with a blown crank. Can anybody point me to a new/s hand crank and piston? Rest of the motor is perfect. Is there a better fix for this model. Do not know a lot about the early bergs. Am I better off with a later engine? Whats the best way to fix this??
