OK, so if you’ve been following the thread below you’ll know that after a small crash at local mx track on my trusty FE 501 02, the shift rail & shift quadrant plates got jammed (don’t think it was as a result of the crash directly)...

My bike began making a tapping sound and then died this weekend. After getting it home and removing the cam cover, I found a broken valve spring. (see attached). But what concerns me is that there is also some rubbing of the cam lobe on a bolt post that holds the cover. Hopefully you can see it...
