FS650e lash in driveline?
Afternoon all, I'm just trying to sort out the gremlins on my recently acquired FS650e, usual stuff like supercharged whining noise, problems with e-start etc but one thing i'm having no luck with is the 'lash' in the driveline it seems to have. When applying the throttle it seems to take up... -

half-an-inch of valve lash...
SERIOUS BUMMER! My 99 fe400 stopped running (again), and wouldnt restart (again). I checked the valve lash, and the intakes have about 12mm of lash!!! Yeah, something must be broken (again). Anybody ever see this before? The intakes do not open when the motor is spun over, but the exhuasts do...- nevada_dirtbiker

gear lash problem?
