kickshaft

I manage to brake my kickshaft a few days ago, order the new parts i now i've got them. But i'm a bit unsure about how to change the broken shaft... need to get of the clutchbasket, do i just unscrew the 6(i think it was 6) screws and take the hole thing out?? cheers sm_master
