I have a 00 husaberg, last year of the old 4 speed gearbox engine I want to know what the advantages and disadvantages of these motors are compared to the newer design another thing I have a problem with the 4th gear, sometimes it skips or the parts for the box are available somewhere?

On the back of the starter motor thread I posted earlier it now looks like everything is OK. After the not turning the motor and just spinning it has suddenly started working perfectly! 8O The only thing I've done is remove the carb (again) for cleaning and replace. The bike started up easily...
