Hi, I’m interested in checking the condition of my piston / rings. Will the top end come off the cylinder with the engine in situ or do I have to plan on removing the engine? The space looks pretty cramped, but maybe removing the rad frees up enough room? Thanks. C

Is there a way to check the cam chain for wear without removing it? AJT - seems to think that it may have more than 30 hours on it. And I think he's probably right. And since this seems to be a "potential" problem I was hoping to at least check it out. John
