I had my 09 450 boil up in the woods and noticed some water coming from the thermostat housing so while checking it out, i removed the themostat now it leaks, there does'nt seem to be any problem with the rubber gasket so what gives? has the housing warped? or am i just useless Lol

I've got oil in the flywheel housing, is this just a badly installed seal ring or is this an indicator for something more serious that could be wrong? I haven't had time to pull the flywheel and take a look at the seal ring, just fishing for ideas or suggestions. What's the proper way off...

I just did another oil change and I noticed the inside of the filter housing wasn't the normal clean machined surface - alot of it was but there was also thin crud zones, grey in color in various spots around the housing. I can't imagine what this is and I don't recall it being there last...
