Not sure the proper term for it, but is the lowest section of the fork removable? And if so, how? I would like to change from a radial to axial brake mount and have the other type on another set of forks if it's possible to change without changing the whole lower section and having the forks apart.

I am in the process of installing an EARTHX battery and when trying to install the the aluminum spacer between the rear battery holder bracket and the frame I got a nice big arc! dunno what that was all about. Thanks EDIT: seems to be ok now. :shrug:
