Has anyone mounted the X2 HID on the 2011 street legal FE 570S? A lot more wires to contend with and appears more difficult to attach to the fork tubes with the upper light clearance issue. If anyone's done it successfully, I'd like to know what you did. Thanks.

As the title reads... Is the HID X2 worth the extra pop over the Halogen X2? I want to upgrade the stock headlamp after being caught out after dark a few times and thinking my Zippo lighter would throw more light... Any insights/experiences would help, Thanks

Has anyone fitted one of the many available HID headlight conversion kits to the OE headlight unit on one of the new 450/570FE's? The kits I've seen draw 35w, the same as the OE bulb so load shouldn't be a problem and having a battery onboard will give enough current for the initial startup...

Hi i just bought a 2010 fe 390 (sweetest bike i ever rode!) and i was wondering if anyone has done a HID bulb swap in there stock headlight housings. is it possible? and will it melt the plastic or be compatible with the stock wiring? i tried searching but i couldnt find anything and im feeling...

Got taken down yesterday by a roo and whilst it was a bloody good stack, the only damage is the headlight and mask. So i may as well take the opportunity to upgrade. We have a $90 Trailtech Halogen vs a $290 Trailtech HID. Is the HID that much better??

Does anyone have any experience with one of these lighting systems? I have been searching for a lighting kit for my bike and want something that will be sufficient without mounting two of these like you see on the baja rides. The pics show a nice product but sometimes the one in the box is not...
