gyrating bobs

I have been noticing my chain wobbling while riding on pavement. It seemed noisy and when I looked down I could see it moving from side to side. It was actually the front sprocket moving 2-3mm on the splines. From gap to no gap. Is this normal? The teeth also look warn to me...
