I am looking to ride in District 37 events and am being told that my bike must be able to pass an exhaust sound decibel test 96dB Max. Can anyone tell me how loud the stock exhaust system is and has anyone passed a sound check with a Big Gun muffler? Thanks! Evin 2002 FE650e

Hey everyone, I have a 97 fe501e. It has a big gun silencer on it. I was told it was just a slip on but am thinking it is a full system. I picked up a stock silencer for it to quiet it down. The stock silincer has two pipes going into it were my front pipes go into a y at the front of the head...

Hi, has somebody some experience with a big gun exhaust???? I have a 00´ 600 Berg and thinking about buying a new exhaust system?? Is there a alternative to a big gun??? How is the big gun....quality, fit, noise, performance.....and so on??? thanks

Just an FYI. Big Gun offers an accident replacement program. Send in your used, bashed in exhaust and they will replace it for 50% off the retail price. I'm not sure how long they have been offering this. I only know that my AR# was 00001, so I assume it's a new program. Todd

I picked up a Big Gun exhaust system that came off a 2000 501 and was thinking of putting it on my 99 FE400. How would it improve the performance? I also will have to fabricate it from the 2 into 1 collector to make it fit right and move the mounting brackets. While I fabricate this, do I need...
