glowing

Hi all sorted electric start so thought I would start on engine bike doesn't idle well and when ran for a couple of minutes the manifold glows red is this the norm??

The header pipes on my fc 470 are glowing red hot aft only a few mins of running. Coolant al seams to b ok and tick over is fine. I only noticed when i turned lights of in shed and could see they were bright red. This isnt mormal is it? Any advice is welcolm Thanks...... Andrew.

Started the bike in the garage earlier just for a few mins and the headers were red hot is ithins normal? or could it be telling me its LEAN ? Chris.
