gday all from warm summery Oz. the temp was about 24 deg C here today and rising for a long dusty summer. Bring on the rain. Still off work and busting to get onto this bike. question has frame geometry changed over the years- say 96 to current model- engine mounts rear motor/ frame/...

i'm looking for objective opinions and descriptions of the pre 04 steering geometry vs. post 04 geometry. also, why do you suppose husaberg built the bike for all those years before they opted to steepen the steering angle? i thought they were on to something....i wonder who decided to do...

I'm considering upgrading from my '02 FE501 to a new FE550, mainly to take advantage of the new quicker steering, but loosing the SEM will be a nice side benefit. Can anyone tell me: Are '04 and '05 FE steering geometry the same? Was the change made to the frame or triple clamps?
