pulse generator (CPS)
Has anyone ever heard of a pulse generator being intermittently bad? I have a Fx 450 2010 that turns on EVERYTIME when cool but once it heats up it cuts out and will only kick but not turn over. LAMP is flashing 2 times, which manual says is the Pulse generator. Once cool (15-20mins) it will...- Benjjamins

cdi /coil/ generator winding.
hi all, i'm new to the site and new to bergs, just aquired one and it ran like a bag of spanners at just above tickover, spitting back and blowing the carb off, ive checked the usual things , valve clearance , carb , plug gap, also even though it was like this it used to start realy well, but...- scrapveiw

generator / regulator wattage output
The manual indicates the 05 fe550 has a 150W generator. Does anyone know if that is the rating for the AC output from the generator or the DC output from the regulator. I suspect the 150W rating is the AC generator output. If this is true, anyone know the wattage rating of the regulator...- SteveS
