I have received a price to make this gear for the electric start Husabergs 1997-2000: 250 156 01 it is the SMALL gear teeth that have gone on the one I have. if anyone is interested, i can get two done for 200GBP each. of course, if you have a perfectly good condition gearwheel yourself...

While repairing an oil leak from the starter o-ring I noticed 2 teeth missing on the larger cog of the Gearwheel Starter/Balancer. The larger cog is about 5cm in Diameter. I have been quoted $350 AUD for the part and a 6 to 8 week wait. Seems very expensive and even the dealer was surprised...
