99 fx501 starter problem
Well I picked up a 99 fx501 recently. Trying to start it is a *****. When you click the start button you just get a lot of clanking. I just want to know what I should look at. Id guess starter gear maybe?- peeweesp

Smaller Fuel Tank for FX501?
I have a 1999 FX501 set up as a motard and think I'd prefer a "regular" tank without the extension that my bike has. Any general guidelines on what other model/year tanks would work on this bike; and if I can use the seat it has or need to change ot also to match the tank? thanks, Walter
