I fixed the hot start for my FE450 using the valve adjusments as 0.6 turn .
very easy kickstart now, event not necessary to use the decomp when hot.
But the Estart not work.
Accu is just new , Exide AGM 110 A , i have 2 tried electric startes mitsuba in perfect state .

2005 FE 450 still having e-start problems. Changed out autodecomp spring. New battery, new starter still will not start on the button. Engine turns when you push the button but only half way around then bogs down, turns then bogs down etc.... Out of ideas. Need help or it's going up for sale...

So my problem is that whenever I use the e-start on my bike it makes a bang just before it starts. Almost every time. Sometimes it is hardly noticeable and sometimes it makes a great bang like a fire cracker. It runs great otherwise.
What can this be?

I have a 2006 650 and I was told by a Husaberg mechanic that it is not wise to use the e-start when the bike is cold. He said if I did it could do a lot of damage. He didn't however elaborate on what would happen.

So my 650 had the older type ADC and cam gear so I updated the cam gear and ADC sledge (old one was mush) and cam and still e-start does not have enough nuts. I'm going to try a better battery or maybe check the valves again once the piston gets to compression stroke it will not overcome the...

2002 FE501 with lights and turn signals. It has the Electrex 5410L stator, factory regulator/rectifier setup, R6 starter, YTZ7S battery. The battery stays charged when I ride around with the lights on, but it's only showing about 12.3 Volts on the battery when revved up.
