Drop The Needle For Better Mileage
I currently have my needle at the recommended location but will be riding in the desert at 2000 feet. Can I drop the needle one notch to get better mileage and not adversely affect performance? Evin -

2000 FE600 wont start hot - especially if I drop it.
My 2000 FE600 starts fine (kick) cold with the choke on - 2nd or 3rd kick. Its ok hot sometimes. It was a problem hot but I found if I switched the fuel off before the engine it started ok - on investigation I found one float full of fuel..replaced it..needle & seat seemed ok > that improved... -
When drop something in the engine-it's OK :)

when drop things in the engine :(
I know it's stupid, but I let the chain to drop into the engine, also the chain lock. :? :( Should I disassemble now completely? Please advice, if someone has made so stupid as me :x - FE 400 '99- tuflek
