    Gear/cable driven speedo shows wrong speed

    I have a 2002 650 FSe with the original speed/odo driven by a gear on the front wheel spindle and a cable. The speedo has both mph and km/h but shows too low speed. At estimated 70 km/h in traffic it shows about 40 km/h. At first I thought the drive gear was replaced with one for a 21” wheel...

    Well, my buddies VOR seized the big end bearing so it is completely dismantled in my shop. Can see the Husaberg influence on the top end and oiling system. Gear drive for the cam is way cool. Anyone have a clue as to where I can obtain a rod kit? Dan at Motoexotica is out and VOR is RIP. dan...
