My Husaberg 650 02 model is starting to annoy me...
Off with the head, disassembled all the valves and cleaned everything. Grinded valves and seat, mounted it back together and filled the ports with liquid to make sure that there was no leak. Assembled the head togheter with new seals...
well, I order a M-10 O'NEAL boot from ebay, size 8 which is european 42, but it does not fit me. I had try size 8 before I order and it was fine. I had try with Acerbis, Form, and some others. Now I need to know if the THOR Quadrant boot size 8 will fit me, or I have to order the 9. Does anybody...
i have some mechanical backround, and have rebuilt auto engines before, but i've heard that the 'bergs are very different animals and require alot of care when rebuilding. the bike sat for a year or so prior to me getting it, and the gaskets for the valve cover and the cases are weeping oil...
right i'm having the same old problem of starting .

my 2001 ..470 i have just installed new valves new tappets and a brand new carb
(which i have also stripped and checked ) the bike takes maybe 20 kicks to start i've tried it with choke ..no choke .. with throttle and no throttle 3...
I have never changed fork seals but my 2002 FE 501 leaks oil out of both legs. I would like to be able to do it myself so as not to have to pay a dealer all the time. Anyone know what tools I would need to do it right?
Some have said to slide a film negative under the fork seal to clean out...
