    2 Stroke water crossings

    Has anyone with the TE250 or TE300 encountered any issues with water crossings? The air intake looks mighty low and not very well protected.... I've ordered a 250 and am slightly concerned by this - my FE550 plows through rivers!

    Water crossings

    I have a new to me FE550 (2005). Given the positioning of the battery and its relay for the starter with fuses, is there any concern if this gets completely submerged in water crossings? Are there any modifications I should make to it? Thanks! Rob
