Hello. FE470e 2002 A pin is broken, the one on the gear for driving the camchain. Should I just make a new one frome a pice of steel plate, is this okey?? or where can i get a new one? Will a DIY pin do the job.? 2nd: Problem two is a crack on the gear, see pics.. Should i replace this...

Found this on a friends 570 from -09, it is the right top engine mount. Take a look at yours when you have your eyes in that area.

Hi, I have purchased a 2001 FX 470E. It is not selecting 4th gear and has a small crack in the engine case by the right hand swingarm mount boss. Has anyone else suffered from this crack.

Just noticed a small crack in the front rhs engine mount (ally?) plate. it hasnt gone all the way down the plate but it is at least 1/3 of the way down. is this a common problem ? Could there be an underlying cause of this or is it something i shouldnt worry too much about and just replace it ...

Looks as I my have that crack that starts in the area of the rear/right mount on the engine at the swing arm. At this time only small of oil film forms over a 5 hr ride. This is not a problem for me, but is there a possible breakage that may happen in the future and if so is this repairable now...
