confused

I just got myself a used husaberg fe501. I would like to know what year is this engine and what did i got myself into?

I'm told my bike's an FE550 by everyone on this forum & by a KTM dealer.................but Husaberg's 2001 - 2003 Engine Workshop Manual only gives info for the FC550 - no other 550 model is mentioned !!? Does this mean you're all wrong about the FE550 for this period ?

I have a 1998 FC400, That is the model year that is stamped on the steering head. My stator is attached to the right side cover and comes off attached to the cover when removing the three cover bolts. It has a three wire connector that runs to the CDI/coil. So what do I have a 98 or 99 set-up...

Can anyone please explain to me why the owner's manual for an '05 FE 550 E shows the fuel required to be RON 95 (US=premium RON 91). Is there some difference between the Euro spec and the US model? Is there some difference that allows the US model to run a lower grade of fuel for what I would...
