I've been busy sorting the strainer issues now the factory have stopped making them for the 1989-2002s. the idea is that you can use a 2003-2008 strainer which is fatter but shorter with an alloy spacer at the pump end to downsize the fat strainer to fit into the existing oil pump entry hole...

Although Husaberg is being cagey about what 2 stroke it will be. Whether it will be the rebadged blue KTM, or something else. I guess we'll see. Personally, I can't see them bringing a blue KTM here. The dealer situation for Husabergs here isn't what it is in Europe. Most Husaberg dealers here...

just purchased an 04 550 fe, on my first ride l noticed some oil running down the crank case just in front of the water pump housing. there is a small hole in the housing which l presume is for this, but being my first berg i just want to be sure. any help would be appreciated.

Counter balance shaft gear keeps coming loose ? I've replaced the woodruff key as the old one broke up. There seems to be no wear on the shaft or gear and I trimed the new key down when fitting it but the noise has come back again ? Any advice Guy's. :oops:
