I replaced the SEM combo cdi/coil with one from RegulatorRectifier.com. The coil and the CDI are separate. It works great and starts easier. I am looking for the best place to mount the coil. I am tempted to place it within the frame backbone. Has anyone done this before? fluidray 2003 FE400e

Trying to rule out problems with the bike. Mate has me testing the ignition coil but I have no idea what values I need to be getting. I get 4.71 ohms from positive to negative and about 20.50 from positive or negative to the spark plug end. Thanks in advance.
