clickers

Hi, tried to turn the reb. on my brothers 450 08', but we cant find the bottom. Took it apart and as I see it the rod that runs in the center should be a mechanical stop, not the clicker it self? How many clicks should it be if everything works right? /Marcus, Sweden!
