click

Adjusting my clearances 1/6th turn but the exhaust side rocker arms don't move or click like the intake ones do... Can't be right can it?

When I press the start button, all I get is a click sound (no fuel pump sound). I can push start the bike and it will run fine. I have put a new fully charged battery in and have checked all connections behind the light so far. So now I am looking for advice. Where should I look next?

The Battery is new and fully charged. When I pull the starter and jump it it turns but not as fast as I would have thought. Turning by hand the starter has a lot of drag. Any ideas? Thanks. Donald

Just put my 2004 FE550e Berg back together after over a year of laying in bits. It's looking great with new plastics etc and it started for the first time yesterday without any problem using the kick start. Using the electric starter though just gives a click and doesn't turn the starter motor...

I had to do some work on my bike as the gear selector was stuck. Cleaned up, readjusted the valves. Kick start mechanism was of course a pain to put back (with the darn ratchet held by that crescent thingy). Now the bike starts A LOT more easily, EXCEPT that the kick start does not "click"...
