put a new rod kit in 20 hrs ago found some flakes on the drainplug 2 oil changes in a row lower end of the rod is a little larger than the original and lightly contacts the crank when the piston is under full steam I think on the power stroke. it doesn't contact checking by hand so the crank...

I always adjust the valve clearence on my '94 fc600 to 0.10mm, but the manual for my '06 fe550 says 0.12mm. What's up?, maybe I'll just go 1/8 out, but I like to do both to be sure. :)
