choke

I'm planning to fit a fcr41 to my 02, 650. It came from a crf with the remote hot start. I was planning on putting the choke on the decomp lever. I've bought all the new parts to mod the head (dual spring, new cam, modded decomp etc) and was planning on removing the manual decomp system...

Is there such a thing? Very hard to reach with my set up, must of been done before?:unsure:

I just got a 99 fe 400 e. it runs really good. problem is it runs with choke open. close the choke and it dies. any idea what is going on? it does have a small split in the boot going from the airbox to the carb. would this effect the choke like that? Any help would be greatful!!

i went for a 70 k ride today when the motor would not idle propely and started to flame out down on low revs so when i got home cheched out the idle seting and discoverd the idlel choke shaft broken 124$ to replace has any one else had this problem 570 09 60 hours 4000ks...
