Hey guys, I was curious what the cross over years are on the older models. I am wanting to put a 1996 600cc engine on my 1995 FE501 chassis. Should I expect issues or is it pretty much a direct mount from one to the other ?

Was discussing how DR-Z's handle over on Thumpertalk. A guy there had had a 50+ RWHP build iirc, sth. like 470cc. (The DRZ motor can be built to put out very nice power (and still be reliable)) Guy said it wasn't great in the dirt as the bike wanted to spin round and put the rear wheel out front...

I am working on a Road racing project and I have the opportunity to buy a complete FC for a smoking deal. or I could buy just a motor. I only need the motor, so I am just wondering if there is any demand for a FC rolling chassis. I want to get a feel for it before I decide to buy it...
