burn

hello , im going to go have a look next week at a 2008 fe550, the owner says the bike burns oil on start up, but goes away when warm mentioned vales seals, do you thing it could be just seals or guides as well? or even whole engine rebuild? its all the info I have at the moment! thanks...

Good day to ya, I bought a brand new, in the crate 2007 FE550 last fall. It now has 30hrs on it. Since day one it has burnt oil during cold engine starts. Never when the engine is warm, only when it is completely cold and has sat for 4 hours or so. At first I thought it was rings seating...
