berg or first

I have been checking this site daily since I decided to buy a Berg, it should arrive next week. I am buying an 02 400 fe and want to make sure I break it in properly. I am assuming a couple of hours easy riding and then check/adjust valves and do an oil change. Any other recommendations? I will...
