800ml

HI all I'm new here. Just acquired myself a husaberg 650 fe. Basically the previous owner told me only to use 800ml for the oil changes,which i have done. But it dosent even show in the sight glass. Im a bit worried for obvious reasons and would appreciate some advice. nice to meet you all James.
