6th

TL;DR: bike wouldn't shift into 6th, lots of metal on the drain plug, next oil change looked great and 6th gear is fine now (was fine the next day, even before the oil change)... any idea wtf happened? Long winded story below, including a few iceland riding pics! Hey guys, During a 4 day...

Since my engine rebuild I am missing the 6th gear of my gearbox. Is it mandatory to split my engine or is it possible my gearbox 'star' is wrong on the shift drum? My gear sequence is correct 1-0-2-3-4-5, but no six (it ís a 6 speed gearbox) Top speed is now ~140 km/h with 16-42

Hi all :) Seeing as how the cases are split I'm considering replacing the .741 6th with the .840 C/R 6th. I dont particularily want to download the old 02 parts manuals, so does anyone out there have the pt nos. for the .840 gearset combo ??( if it is even still available as a spare part)...
