My only issue with them is how much they dive under even light braking, is there a way to resolve this??
I have no problem going into the forks i just do not know what to do when i got there......
i dont race it, but want it to be somewhat race ready, i do get aggressive on the back roads...
What do you guys think about these forks. Why do most all the husabergs come with inverted forks and my bike has conv. forks.I have adjusted them all up and down and they seem stiff, plus the damn thing washes out so easy on sand. Are my forks high tech.Sorry for the bitchn but it has hurt me twice.
My forks are leaking and I need to reseal them and need to know how much oil in each leg and what WT.oil I should use. This is a 99 fc400 with 50mm extreme forks.
Just an FYI for whoever may run a search for WP 50mm Extreme fork springs in the future.
It seems no one carries springs for these forks anymore. They were only used on 1997-1999 Bergs. Race Tech has them listed on their website but don't have and cannot get them.
Going through the KTM...
I am having difficulty installing Synergy fork seals in my *********** 50mm forks http://www.synergyseals.com/.
Has anyone used these fork seals before?
If installed with the U-Grovve down they seem a little large and won't seat in the fork leg.
They would go in with the groove facing up...
what do you guys use for yur forks. the guards that came on my bike i just looked closely at andthe are stamped ktm imagne my dissapointment on that. anyway let me know i ave the 5mm WP conventionals
does anyone know of a good inexpensive shop near monterey, ca I have the parts and fluids just not the time or tools. I also do not have 4-500 dollars to send it to like race tech or somthing
