Side foam pieces on frame - ‘08 FE550
What function do those 2x longitudinal strips of foam on the frame do? The parts fiche says it’s they’re “tabs for filter protection”. Not clear what that means. I took mine off when I sandblasted and powder coated the frame. They were torn and dirty, but I kept them as patterns to...- canadius
