yet another problem

does any 1 have any ideas my fe 501 elduro runs sweet kicks up 1st or 2nd kick evry time hot or cold but wen im rideing it will pop and cut out but let throttle off and it starts back up and shoot off then pops and cuts out repeat throttle off back alive again sum times doesnt do it and runs super any ideas much appriciated thanks

1) Debris in the float bowl/main jet
2) Stator is failing

I could give you more guesses, but lets start with those two first.

check the taps on the tank for blockage or the float valve sounds like a restricktion in fuel because when you let the throttle off it runs again the pop can be caused by a week mixture due to not enugh fuel in the carb.also check the floats havent any fuel inside them

also, remove the carb needle and take a close look at it for wear. when it warmed up my 98 fe400 did something like that when i tried to use my original dellorto (with a worn needle).
