Hey, does someone has an idea if it's a good idea to replace the headlight bij a Xenon kit?
I'm not sure if it's strong enough to withstand all the bumps and chocks you get in offroading.
But I think it looks nice though. Anyone tried it out allready? :)

I have had one installed for a about 1,500 miles and have eaten it more times then id like to talk about off road and it has never not worked except when the switch that controlled it failed, at least a 300 of the 1,500 miles were hard off road. i have a 35 watt hid kit, i wish i would have gone with a 55w kit but thats another story, i think if you can put one on, you should. my old headlight was horrible, i still have the same reflector as stock which is not very good on my old bike but the hid kit at least made it usable at night. i think with the more modern reflectors you could have a great headlight with just a cheap kit and maybe the 35w would even be good with a better reflector.... i went with a 6000K light which is a white color, not a blue or purple, in my opinion the whiter or yellow colors seem brighter but i am sure that is just my preference....
i used three strips of double sided 3m tape to hold the balast to a verticle section of frame and even that has not cam loose in the snow, rain, 100F, or -0F tempuratures.

Greatn thanks for the reply, i'll try to install it because now i'm riding with a cross plate with a small hole in it with a small halogen light for home use. So it's terrible at night with no streetlights.
