Can anyone tell me where to download/get a manual for the WP bits on my '99 FE400.

Thanks. I should have looked around the site more. There are 2 manuals that appear to be for '99. Do you which one applies ot my FE400 "Elduro" or are they both the same? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, jadhusa....
The workshop manual for my '98 covers all three motors - 400, 501 and 600, for all 4 bikes for the year - fe Enduro, fc MX, fe-e Elduro, and fx-e Desert, but it does NOT have suspension info in it. I have two separate WP manuals for shock and forks. I checked the "former downloads" section on the www.husaberg.se website for the 1999 OWNERS manual, and it shows a WP5060-HusaE fork for the enduro/elduro, and a WP5018-HusaE PDS shock, but neither manual appears to be available on the .se site.

Thanks guys. I have found all the info I should need. You were a great help. Owning a Husaberg seems to automatically include me in a great group of enthusiasts. One other question though. I see a few people using "seal savers"...do they work...well?

The service manual on the -99 shock is great. Is the service manual for the 1999 WP PDS shock useful for work on the 2000 WP PDS shock as well?
To what nitrogen pressure do you fill the shock. The manual says you should fill for about 20 seconds but is the pressure not important too?

if the shock is std -piston seperating the gas and oil the pressure is 150lbpsi this is the whitepower recomendation found at a ktm forum if there is a bladder fitted you take it up to 175 +

150 and 175PSI, that's about 10 and 12 Bars respectively, eh? Sounds like very manageable pressures. 8) See, I would like to be able to change oil in the shock myself but have not done it before, so I'm trying to grasp what it takes before removing it from the bike. Husa-berg.org is THE place to find information. Thank you nzberg. :) The WP manual will be indispensable too.
I have not figured out what kind of nitrogen valve the shock is fitted with or how to correctly use it. Is it possibly like an inner tube valve, and like the ones on car tubeless wheels?
Bladder?, Does it replace the separation piston? Is it something aftermarket-ish that you fit to gain some kind of advantage, or is it just how some of them come from the factory for economical, or other, reasons?
