I dropped my 470 on a hillside last weekend and now it will start and idle but even cracking the throttle causes it to die instantly. I've had crancase oil go thru the engine before without a problem after an upside down fall but maybe this is an extreme case? Any suggestions? Thanks, Eric

The carburetor is full of crankcase oil. Remove the float bowl and clean it out. Also take a rag and wipe out the air cleaner boot and inside of the frame.
I had this happen once way out in the boonies with no way out but to ride out. I ran the thing for about 15 minutes smokin like a son of a gun untill it ran all the oil out of the carb. I dont recommend that procedure
