I want to have the ECU remapped , who should I use ? 2010FE 570.. pops on decel, hard to start, long crank time , very high idle . Thanks , all help appreciated.

I just got a an '10 570 as well, haven't rode it yet but the few times I've had it running in the garage, it took forever to start, ran the battery down 3 times before it fired enough to maintain idle. I tried to hop on it and ride it down the driveway but it coughed and died, not enough battery to restart. Am I looking at a remap too?

Any Husa dealer near you should be able to do it. MFI Motorsports is in VA, they can definitely do it. Just send them your ECU. I plan to do the same.

MFI, Woodbridge is actually where I bought the bike. I'd probably send it to the Husaberg Dealer in Cookeville, TN, which I believe is the closest one to me here in Knoxville unless someone were to advise against that. I'm a Husaberg and FI noob so I'm not sure what FI map to ask for. Is there a thread on here that defines them and the differences between each avaialable one? I'm going to be riding a mix of fire roads and single track in Eastern Woods, and probably some gravel roads to connect them. Rekluse, radiator fan and stock muffler for the time being. I didn't see any applicable threads here in Fuel, maybe there's a good thread in electrical????

I am also interested in what MAP to use. I talked to MFI earlier this week and they think they can do it but have not done one yet. I'm going to take my bike there next week and I will let you know how it goes. Before you ride it too much check the wiring harness near the shock because mine is rubbing. Does anyone have a good way to keep the wiring harness out of the way?

I talked to MFI as well, he says he will look into it. Thats why I was looking for someone w experince so mine wasnt the gunea pig. Probabably need to check the fuel tank for the white residue crap & get a fuel filter.

I got mine started and let it idle for 10 minutes or so, looks like it's running fine now. Got a good ride in today, only 2-3 flame outs, one was pretty abrupt, almost sounded like a backfire coming up out of the seat. To get it started, I have to give it some throttle when holding down the button to get it up to idle. Besdies that and figuring out a good seeting on the rear shock, seems to be running great. It hausl butt!

I can see some white looking residue on the sides of the tank when I lookinside the gas cap, not sure what that's all about.

The white stuff inside the tank comes from the fuel that was put in at the factory, evaporating. Having read other posts about the white stuff plugging up the fuel filter, I rinsed out my tank several times with clean fuel, before ever starting the bike. Since you've ran the bike, I would remove the tank, pull out the fuel filter/pump and see how much crud is in/on the filter, could be the cause of all your troubles. Good luck, Joe

I ended up using The Race Shop in Atlanta for my remap, great price and I didn't have to send them my bike, just the ECU. Cookeville said I had to bring the whole bike and let them reprogram and test it out. They are 2 hours away so that wasn't going to work. The bike runs a lot better and not as hot. I am getting a fair amount of flame outs though, particularly when going up hills. It did it worse throughout the day. From all I've read, it's prbaby the white gunk in the tank and fuel filter. I can see it on the sides of the tank when I take the cap off. I'm out of town on business now but will try to take the tank and filter apart for inspection and cleaning as necessary. I'm hoping that's all it is. I've seen this problem aluded to a few times on here, seems crazy that this would happen on a new bike.

Any other help, threads, or experience with this would help, thanks.
