Hey Guys,
Got the 08Fe450 back on the road this week and my battery is pretty shot. It has the standard OEM yuasa still. Went to batteries plus to get a new one and it looks like I can get one that is exactly the same for 70 or so bucks. http://www.batteriesplus.com/product/33 ... -2010.aspx
I know the price isnt too bad but I have not been too impressed with the bikes starting ability and I was wondering if there is a battery out there that will have a higher CCA or Amp Hours. I dont mind Kicking her over the first start of the day but I want good e starts after that.

I've bought several batteries plus brand batteries for my KTM's just before selling them. Each time I installed one I was surprised to find that they always crank harder than the more expensive brands, and that includes the turntech battery. Because I sold the bikes, I don't know how long they lasted, but I've decided my next battery will be a batteries plus brand. Cranks hard and is cheap.

Rock on I am thinking I will go for the Batteries plus when it is time. For now i have installed a trickle charger lead and charge it overnight. I thought the battery was shot out but it seems to be keeping charge. I think batteries plus does make a good product. What I read about the turntech is that it only has 5 amp hours and no cca listed so I am leary of trying it. If anything I want a bigger heavier battery with higher ratings. Thanks for the info guys

Now that looks like the ticket. does the 210cca 14 amp hour fit the yuasa 7 hole?

This battery slides right in with room to spare.
