white plastic?

Hi guys, i've got a 06 650 berg.

I would like to change the plastic color. i've found the white front fender and light mask by ktm.

i wonder if it's possible to find a couple of white shrouds for a berg 06+.

Maybe i could paint them...but i don't think it will be nice :cry:

White would be cool, But I have never heard of anything other than Black, Blue, yellow, or carbon fiber for other Husaberg Plastics.

You could get the paint to look nice but i don't know how well it would hold up.

If you got the 4 gal. tank (comes in white, and replaces shrouds?) might get two birds with one stone. Not 100% this will work, but from the advertizment-maybe.

I don't know who owns it but it has white shrouds.

Krylon paint will work if you are careful and put in a lot of prep work. And you can even finish with a clear coat, just don't spill any gas on the paint.

I remember this post, The gentleman said he painted the shrouds white. It does look good though... just wonder how well they hold up....

Wouldn't epoxy be gasoline resistant? Plus it's usually sort of white.

well the owner's a friend of mine, he's italian but lives in london.

he told me he painted the shrouds. rear fender is the original blue one. don't know if front fender and light mask are painted or not but doesn't matter: ktm sells them in white plastic.

I don't think i'll paint my shrouds, cuz i'm quite sure painting won't hold long.
Probabily i'll keep the original shrouds with is own graphics, i really like them.
I am going to buy the aluminium tank (shrouds >06). unfortunately it's bruised but it will cost about 250Ã¢â€šÂ¬ (300$ i think).

My berg is sporting a nice black paint job. All plastics were prep'ed & painted.
the previos owner did the work so I'm sorry I don't know what was used, but it's holding up allright. It's starting to wear down by the footpegs but thats easy to repaint.
How do I attach a picture? If I could figure it out I will show you what it looks like.
